Bernd Bocian, Dr. phil. (dottorato di ricerca TU-Berlino), psicoterapeuta tedesco (PTG) formazione in terapia della Gestalt all’Istituto Geni (Francoforte/San Francisco), specializzazione pluriennale sia in terapia psicoanalitica che in analisi del carattere e body work reichiano. Vanta una lunga esperienza come psicoterapeuta, counselor ed educatore maturata in studio privato, presso diversi consultori (familiari, per giovani e per la mediazione penale) e presso cooperative sociali con adulti, adolescenti e bambini.
È stato terapeuta didatta per diversi istituti di formazione, e membro del comitato di redazione della rivista Gestalttherapie della DVG (Deutsche Vereinigung für Gestalttherapie).
È autore di numerose pubblicazioni sulla relazione storica ed attuale fra la psicoterapia della Gestalt e la psicoanalisi, ed è stato co-curatore e co-autore insieme a Frank Staemmler di “Terapia della Gestalt e psicoanalisi” (Vandenhoek & Ruprecht, 2000). Ultima pubblicazione: “Fritz Perls a Berlino 1893-1933. Espressionismo – Psicoanalisi – Ebraismo” (Franco Angeli, 2012). Cura la rubrica “Storia e Identità: Testi e pensieri dallo sfondo” per la rivista Quaderni di Gestalt. Vive tra Düsseldorf e Genova.

– He is author of various publications on the historical and contemporary relation between gestalt therapy
and psychoanalysis (e.g. Bocian, B. / Staemmler, F. M.: Gestalttherapie und Psychoanalyse 2000)
